New Life Centre
The New Life Centre, previously a hospital, has been serving as our HQ since 1996 as well as the food distribution centre for the organisation so to speak.
A number of the schools in the area have taken to feeding their children because many of the children arrive at school not having had breakfast and have no lunch. We are involved with a feeding scheme with a number of organisations, such as Mission 96 and the Khaya Centre, where around 100 children are fed every day and a further +- 530 once or twice a week. This continues for about 50+ children and adults during the school holidays when the school kitchen is not functional.
This is also the office where our Manager, book keeper, fundraisers and training facilitator work from.
